Essex Cycling App is an activity tracking toolfor cyclists that enables the public to record data related totheir cycling activities. The app stores anonymised cyclingactivity information from the users who choose to install theapplication. The collected data will be used for transport planningpurposes related to cycling infrastructure in order to make cyclingin Essex safer and more attractive.Terms and conditions:By downloading or using the app, these terms will automaticallyapply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read themcarefully before using the app. To use the services available on the app, you must complete themembership registration form. You agree: (a) to provide true,accurate, current and complete information about yourself asprompted by the Site’s registration form (“Profile”) and (b) tomaintain and promptly update the User Data to keep it accurate andcurrent (c) to use the app to record cycling trips only and not anyother kind of trips (e.g. walking, running etc.) (d) that data fromEssex Cycling app may be used to provide transport planningservices.You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentialityof the password associated with your account and for restrictingaccess to your password and to your computer while logged into theapp. You accept responsibility for all activities that occur underyour account.We endeavour to use reasonable security measures to protectagainst unauthorized access to your account. We cannot, however,guarantee absolute security of your account, your content or thepersonal information you provide, and we cannot promise that oursecurity measures will prevent third-party “hackers” from illegallyaccessing the app or its contents. You agree to immediately notifyEssex Cycling App of any unauthorized use or your account orpassword, or any other breach of security, and to accept all risksof unauthorised access to the User Data and any other informationyou provide to the app.The app is currently available on Android and iOS. Asrequirements for both systems may change, app versions updatesmight become available. You agree to update the application whenoffered to you. We may also wish to stop providing the app, and mayterminate use of it at any time without giving notice oftermination to you.
